Michelle
Michelle is a dedicated dental assistant with a passion for patient care. She graduated from Concord Career Institute in December 1990 and has enjoyed being an integral part of the Whispering Pines Dental team. Dentistry allows her to combine her technical skills with compassionate care, ensuring every patient has a comfortable and positive experience. Outside the office, she loves staying active and spending her free time on the tennis court.
Melissa
Melissa, a native of Columbia, Tennessee, relocated to St. Augustine with her husband four years ago. With over 30 years of experience as a registered dental assistant, she is deeply committed to providing exceptional patient care. Her passion lies in helping patients feel at ease, alleviating anxiety, and ensuring a comfortable experience at the dentist. Beyond her profession, Melissa enjoys spending time outdoors, whether fishing, gardening, or relaxing at the beach with her husband and their beloved fur baby, Dixie Mayes. She also loves cooking, playing pool, and cherishing moments with her two sons and grandchildren Addy Ann and Colton.
Amanda
Amanda, a Palatka native, graduated from Palatka High School in 2011. She joined the Whispering Pines Dental team in 2017 as a dental assistant and transitioned into administration in 2018. Whether assisting chairside or helping patients navigate their financial options, Amanda finds fulfillment in every aspect of her role. She values the meaningful relationships she builds with patients and takes pride in making their dental experience smooth and stress-free. Outside of work, Amanda loves spending time with her husband, Tommy, and their three daughters. Together they enjoy visiting Disney, vacationing in the mountains, and cheering on the Atlanta Braves.
Laura
Laura, a proud graduate of Pasco-Hernando State College, brings 23 years of experience as a dedicated dental hygienist. Passionate about patient care, she strives to make every dental visit a positive experience, taking the time to educate patients and create personalized home care plans that promote overall wellness and a confident smile. For Laura, the most rewarding part of her career is building lasting relationships with her patients, getting to know them beyond their dental needs. Married for 38 years, Laura and her husband have embraced life as a military family, living everywhere from Alaska to Florida. They cherish time spent with family and friends and enjoy running and relaxing on the water together.
Hannah
Hannah earned her degree in Dental Hygiene from Georgia Highlands College in 2009 and spent several years honing her skills in private practice in Rome and Cedartown, GA. After relocating to St. Johns in 2017, she began filling in at Whispering Pines Dental in 2018 and has been a valued part-time team member ever since. Grateful to be a part of a practice that prioritized both patient care and work-life balance, Hannah appreciated the flexibility to be present for her family including her husband, three children and their beloved small dog, Maple. She loves calling St. Johns home and fully embraces her role as a proud band, soccer, and dance mom. With a natural ability to put patients at ease, Hannah considers making people feel comfortable in the dental chair her true superpower.
